Day 3
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti boasts vast, uninterrupted plains covered in savannah grasslands, offering abundant feeding grounds year-round for wildebeest, numerous antelope species, and zebras. This rich habitat creates prime hunting grounds for carnivores like cheetahs, lions, hyenas, and other wild cats, preying on the herbivores that roam the area. Scattered throughout the landscape are acacia trees and vegetation, forming clusters known as Kopjes, which serve as strategic vantage points for predators to surveil their prey. Additionally, these Kopjes provide a habitat for reptiles such as lizards and pythons, adding to the ecological diversity of the region.
