3-Day Visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

You will wake up in the morning and have breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, the driver-guide will meet you and have a brief meeting about the safari. You will get ready to leave the hotel and drive northwest to Murchison Falls National Park through Masindi and en route to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for the rhino trekking experience. After the rhino experience, you will have lunch at Kabalega Dinners. After lunch, you will head straight to Murchison Falls National Park and visit the top of the falls before you check in at the lodge. You will have an overnight stay and dinner at the lodge.

Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Murchison Falls National Park

You will wake up early morning and have breakfast. Afterward, you'll head out for a morning game drive to search for the savannah dwellers and the Big Five like the elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, giraffes, and different kinds of antelopes. After the morning game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch before you set out again for a boat cruise on the Nile River at 2 pm. On this boat cruise, you will be able to view animals that come down to drink from the river banks.
This is where you get a chance to view the massive Nile crocodiles and the hippos up close from the comfort of your boat.
They will be drinking water and bathing by the shores of the river. This part of the Nile River offers some of the best birding spots in Uganda. You'll watch out for the shoebill storks, Goliath herons, hornbills, and yellow-billed storks among others. The boat trip takes up to 4 hours. This means that you will have a chance to do an evening game drive on your way back to the lodge.

Transfer Back to Entebbe

You will wake up in the morning for an early morning breakfast then you'll check out of the hotel and embark on the journey back to Kampala. On your way back, you will still experience the beauty of nature full of green landscapes and sceneries. Still on your way, you will have a short game drive as you are heading out of the park.
