Day 1

Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

You will be picked up after early breakfast from your Nairobi hotel and drive to the rich agricultural area of Mount Kenya region via the famous pineapple leading company Delmonte. You will also have an opportunity to cross the equator just before you arrive in the famous Nanyuki town for mountain climbers. Lunch will be in Ibis Hotel Nanyuki as well as a short stop over in Nanyuki Shopping Mall. After lunch, you will transverse to Isiolo town via Asher's post to arrive in Samburu in the afternoon. Upon arrival, you will check in at the camp. Thereafter, you will proceed for the game drive which will bring you to the elephant bedroom tower. The game drive will run for about 3 hours. Thereafter, you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

The whole day will be spent exploring this amazing game reserve. It gives you the refreshment of your mind as the park is not populated and not many people visit here. It is home to the Big Five: elephant, lion, rhino, leopard, buffalo, gerenuk, Reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Gravy zebra, Besia oryx, endangered wild dog as well as pun cake tortoise which is endangered.

There are over 450 species of birds identified and aquatic species in the Waso Nyiro River including, vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches, and others. The whole day will be spent exploring the park for the whole day game drive. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 3

Samburu National Reserve - Meru National Park

After an early breakfast at the camp, you will leave Samburu and head to Meru National Park. You will arrive at the Guest House for lunch. After a brief rest, you'll embark on a late afternoon game drive to watch the park's diverse wildlife. The Meru and Kora sister parks boast lush jungles, meandering rivers, green swamps, golden grasslands, and towering termite cathedrals, all beneath an expansive blue sky. The park is home to a variety of animals, including cheetahs, hippos, zebras, giraffes, hartebeests, oryx, oribis, waterbucks, and over 427 recorded bird species. Meru is also renowned for providing excellent opportunities to witness rhinos in their natural habitat.

After the evening game drive, you’ll return to the Guesthouse for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you’ll transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park, which is renowned for its soda lake and the millions of flamingos on its alkaline shores. You'll witness these legions of fuchsia-pink flamingos, feeding on abundant algae in the warm and shallow waters, which is truly a sight to behold.

Upon arrival, you’ll check in at your hotel for lunch and then embark on an evening game drive. Lake Nakuru has earned a reputation as a vital sanctuary for endangered species, notably the Rothschild giraffe and the black and white rhino. The park is also home to lions, waterbucks, buffaloes, and baboons.

Your dinner and an overnight stay will be at the Budget Hotel.

After breakfast, you’ll embark on an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, which is renowned for its soda lake and the mesmerizing sight of millions of flamingos on its alkaline shores. After the game drive, you will proceed to Masai Mara National Reserve via the Great Rift Valley. You'll stop along the way to give you some time to enjoy the scenic view of this geological marvel.

After arriving at the camp and eating lunch, you’ll head out for an afternoon game drive. The wildlife in the Masai Mara is most concentrated on the reserve's western escarpment. After breakfast, you will leave for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch.
The amazing wildlife experience continues. On the plains are large herds of Herbivores grazing and cheetahs and leopards hiding in their locations. Masai Mara is the heart of Kenyan tourism with large species of mammals, amphibians, and reptiles and over 400 bird species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino).
Your picnic lunch will be at the Mara River migration point. After your picnic lunch, you will have some rest before embarking on your late afternoon game drive until late evening. You will later drive back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

This is another full day exploring the endless plains of Masai Mara. Masai Mara game reserve is a 1510sqkm wildlife area which is a small extension of the larger Serengeti National Park.
The Masai Mara is world-renowned for its large abundance of wildlife estimated to be more than 3 million and the highest concentration of big predators including lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, jackals, and serval cats.

The midday meals will be at the picnic Mara River migration point. Later in the evening, you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9

Masai Mara - Nairobi

Masai Mara - Nairobi

You will have an early morning game drive at sunrise when predators are active with the morning hunt of big cats. You will have an opportunity to capture a lion making a kill as most of the time lions kill very early in the morning before sunrise. You will also experience the beauty of sunrise which reveals the backdrop of Masai Mara. The name means the dotted hills in Maa Language.

You will later return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, you will depart Masai Mara with the last picturesque of the Mara arriving in Nairobi late afternoon. You will be dropped off at either your hotel or the airport where the safari ends. Your meal plan includes breakfast and lunch.
