Day 1

Departing from your lodge/hotel in Tanzania, you'll journey through the picturesque Great Rift Valley to reach Lake Manyara National Park. Named after the Maasai term for the "euphorbia tirucalli" bush used in local cattle protection, this park is a verdant paradise boasting lush forests of giant fig and mahogany trees. Here, you'll encounter diverse wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, Masai giraffes, zebras, various antelopes, monkeys, and a thriving hippo population both on land and in the lake. With luck, you might even catch a glimpse of the famed tree-climbing lions lounging in the branches of Acacia tortilis trees. The park is also a haven for birdwatchers, offering sightings of flamingos, pelicans, hornbills, and numerous forest species. After your exploration, your driver will escort you to Eileen’s Tree Inn in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay, with packed lunch and dinner included.

Day 2

Following breakfast, your journey progresses through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, traversing the Malanja depression en route to Serengeti, renowned as one of the world's most celebrated wildlife conservation areas. Your first stop will be at the Naabi Hill Gate, offering a chance for a brief stroll amidst the Naabi Hill Kopjes, massive granite boulders, while your guide handles necessary paperwork. After a satisfying lunch at the picnic site by the gate, you'll embark on afternoon game drives across the expansive Serengeti National Park, named from the ancient Masai term 'Siringet', meaning 'endless plains'—a truly fitting description of the vast landscape. You'll spend the night at Osinon Serengeti Camp in Seronera, located in Central Serengeti, with all meals included.

Start your day with an exhilarating early morning game drive in Serengeti, with an optional visit to the hippo pools and Seronera Visitor’s Center. Following a hearty breakfast at the bush camp, continue your game drives in Serengeti, retracing your path towards Naabi Hill Gate until early afternoon. Then, cross back into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. You'll return to the welcoming ngorongoro lodge inside ngorongoro crater where all meals are included.

You will embark on an incredible adventure after breakfast as you descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a geological wonder and the world's largest volcanic caldera. Within the grasslands and acacia forests of the crater, you'll witness the presence of almost every animal species of the East African savannah, including the illustrious Big Five—rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion, and leopard. The expansive variety of wildlife extends to herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and the majestic African elephant.
