Day 1

Arusha to Serengeti

Arusha to Serengeti

After being picked up from the airport the day before, your guide will transport you to the Serengeti, one of the world's most well-known wildlife sanctuaries.
Serengeti National Park, known by the Maasai as ''serengit,'' is most certainly the world's best animal preserve. It is home to hundreds of lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, elephants, buffalo, millions of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and countless of birds, to name a few. The park is noted for its massive migration of over a million wildebeests and thousands of zebras. Let me not brag, but let you see beyond what we are explaining.

Waking up in the Serengeti is incredible. You will be able to hear a variety of bird and wild animal sounds, creating a complete soundscape of the Serengeti and true African beauty. Today, you will have a full-day game drive to this most amazing area on the planet.
On this day, you will have the opportunity to participate in an optional balloon safari that begins very early in the morning. After registering, head to the crater for a lovely game-viewing drive. The Ngorongoro Crater, dubbed 'the Eighth Wonder of the World,' is one of Africa's most well-known wildlife areas. The UNESCO World Heritage Site preserves a unique environment that has remained practically untouched since the beginning of civilization. Deep within the crater, surrounded by towering walls, approximately 25,000 big creatures roam the plains, lakes, and woods of 'The Land. During your wildlife drive inside the crater, you will most certainly witness black rhinos, leopards, magnificent black-maned lions, and numerous flamingos. Later, you will be returned to Arusha.
