After breakfast, we’ll depart for Tarangire National Park. The first stop is Arusha Town for any last-minute purchases before arriving in Tarangire. This park is renowned for its large elephant population and baobab trees. It is at the heart of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras.

After breakfast, we’ll depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the stunning, expansive farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you descend into the heart of wild Africa, Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We will pay a visit to the central area of the park, known as the Seronera. This rich wildlife habitat features the Seronera River, which provides a vital water source to this area. You’ll arrive in time for lunch.

Today you will wake up and drive north through the Serengeti, chasing the wildebeest migration and the river crossing. Serengeti National Park in Tanzania is renowned for its incredible wildlife and vast landscapes. A game drive from the central to northern sections of the park offers a thrilling experience, especially during the Great Migration, when millions of wildebeest and other animals move across the plains in search of fresh grass and water.

Day 4

Wake up early for a full day of exploring the Great Migration and traveling over the plains alongside the animal herds. We’ll search for active carnivores and other species in the northern area of the park on morning and afternoon game drives.. Throughout the region, sightings of black rhinos, topis, hartebeests, hippos, lion prides, leopards, cheetahs, crocodiles, and elephants have all been reported.

The Mara River offers a prime location for witnessing the wildebeest migration. Situated in the direct path of numerous species migrating through the Masai Mara and Serengeti National Park, the Mara River flows through both Kenya and Tanzania. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in the region's water supply system.

In the stunning northern Serengeti, you’ll wake up very early to watch the sunrise. Afterwards, we’ll transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and your overnight stay. Here you can take in the breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater valley. The journey from the Serengeti to Ngorongoro involves traveling through some of Tanzania's most scenic and wildlife-rich areas.

Day 6

After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, which is over six hundred meters deep. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a substantial variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and large African elephants. Another significant draw to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which includes lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a skilled eye to spot. Additionally, we will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake at the southwestern corner, which is one of the major features of the crater. This is typically where one may witness a vast number of flamingos, hippos, and various aquatic birds. The journey concludes with a drive to Arusha.
