Day 1
Tarangire National Park

You'll have an early breakfast, your driver will pick you up at your hotel at 7:30 am. When all your bags are packed into the jeep, you'll set off for Tarangire. From Arusha, it is a 2-2.5 hour drive to Tarangire along a tarmac road. When you arrive at the get your guide will handle the formalities while you can visit the toilet and the curio shop. The rest of the day is spent in Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is a huge area of thorny bush and savannah. The park is home to large numbers of herbivores, and most know it to be one of the best parks in Africa to see elephants. Other animals that you have an excellent chance to see in Tarangire include lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, ostriches, wildebeest, zebras, impalas, baboons, warthogs, and many others. Late in the afternoon, you'll leave Tarangire and drive along a tarmac road to your camp close to Ngorongoro.

Day 2
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
You'll have an early breakfast and then depart for Serengeti. The drive goes via the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. You'll make a quick stop at the crater rim at a viewpoint. After about two hours, you'll arrive in the Serengeti National Park. The rest of the day will be spent game driving in the park. Serengeti is home to many animals and on your game drives here you may see, among other animals, lion, hyena, jackal, leopard, cheetah, serval, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, dik-dik, impala, warthog, hippo, crocodile, baboon, vervet monkey, waterbuck, topi, hart beast, klipspringer, rock hyrax and many more. In the evening, you'll go to your campsite, in the heart of Serengeti, for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
You get up before sunrise today and go out for a two-hour game drive before breakfast. In the first hours of the day, your chances of seeing predators are the best. You may also get a chance to see nocturnal animals like the striped hyena, bush baby, and caracal. Breakfast will be at the lodge, then another game drive in Serengeti, before your afternoon drive to Ngorongoro Crater. You'll arrive at your campsite, in the mountains just beyond the rim of the crater, at dusk. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the campsite.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
You'll have an early breakfast, and then you'll drive down to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is a crater by name only; geologically, it is a caldera, a collapsed volcano. Ngorongoro is the world’s largest unbroken caldera with a diameter of about 21 km. Inside the crater, the climate is perfect for animals with water available all year round and cooler temperatures than the surrounding savannah. Ngorongoro Crater is your best chance to see rhinos, and you may also see lions, hyenas, elephants, hippos, cheetahs, wildebeest, zebras, and many kinds of birds and monkeys. Mid-afternoon, you'll leave Ngorongoro and drive back to Arusha, where your guide drops you at your hotel/airport.
