Drive to Lushoto

In the morning at 7:30 am, you will depart from Arusha and head to Lushoto in the West Usambara Mountains, arriving in the early afternoon for lunch. Later, you will enjoy a walk or drive to the Irente Viewpoint and visit Irente Farm, where local farmers grow a variety of fruits and vegetables.

A hike to Lushoto

After breakfast, you will set out for a walk and tour of the Usambara Mountain forests. This is a wonderful opportunity to see various forest bird species, reptiles, butterflies, black and white colobus monkeys, and much more. A picnic lunch will be provided along the way. You can also arrange a village tour to learn about the traditional way of life of the local communities.
