Nairobi CBD – Masai Mara National Reserve

The safari begins early in the morning with a scheduled pick-up from a central meeting point in Nairobi CBD. After meeting your driver-guide and fellow travelers, you will depart Nairobi and drive toward the Masai Mara via the scenic Great Rift Valley, with a brief stop along the way for photos and refreshments. You will arrive at your camp or lodge in the Masai Mara in time for lunch and check-in. After a short rest, you will head out for your first afternoon game drive in the reserve, where you may encounter a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and predators such as lions and cheetahs. You will return to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara with a packed lunch. The day is dedicated to exploring different wildlife-rich areas of the reserve, increasing your chances of spotting the Big Five and many other species. Your guide will share insights about the ecosystem as you visit riverbanks inhabited by hippos and crocodiles and open plains known for big cat sightings. During the migration season, you may witness large herds of wildebeest and zebras crossing the plains. You will enjoy your picnic lunch in the bush before continuing with game viewing until late afternoon. In the evening, you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
