Your adventure begins with an early departure from Arusha toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. Enjoy a game drive across the crater floor, where thousands of animals live within this natural volcanic sanctuary, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and the endangered black rhino.

After a picnic lunch, continue your journey toward Ndutu, located in the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Arrive in the afternoon for your first glimpse of the open plains that become the center of the Great Migration calving season from December to March.

With morning and afternoon game drives, explore the grasslands, seasonal lakes, and woodland areas while searching for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and other wildlife following the migration. Enjoy an early morning game drive in Ndutu, when wildlife activity is at its peak. This is an excellent opportunity to witness predators on the move, young calves staying close to their mothers, and herds spread across the golden plains.

After lunch, depart Ndutu and travel through the beautiful landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward Karatu. The journey offers breathtaking views as you transition from the open savannah into the lush highlands surrounding the Great Rift Valley.

Explore the park in search of elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, and, if lucky, the famous tree-climbing lions. After a memorable morning safari, enjoy lunch before driving back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
