Pickup at your hotel at 04:00am in Dar es salaam drive to Mikumi national park which is 8 hours, having hot lunch in Morogoro town. You will be able to see same of animals while on the way to Mikumi. You will be at Mikumi at 12:00 and proceed for late afternoon game drive game drive before driving back to your camp for a Dinner & Overnight at Camp Bastian Mikumi.

Mikumi to Udzungwa for Hiking

After breakfast collect your packed lunch and heading to Udzungwa Mountain for the Hiking which is 1 hour to Udzungwa Upon arrival, you will meet our guide/ranger who will accompany you on the hiking tour.

Udzungwa Mountains National Park is well known for its excellent hiking, trekking, mountain climbing, and forest walks. The most popular hiking tour is up to the Sanje Waterfalls, looking for monkeys, swimming in plunge pools, and enjoying the spectacular view while enjoying a picnic lunch. After your hiking tour, you will descend the mountains and drive back to your accommodation for a Dinner & Overnight at Camp Bastian in Mikumi.
