Our skilled driver will collect you from the hotel and transfer you to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival, you'll embark on the journey to Selous Game Reserve with our experienced driver and tour guide.

At Selous Game Reserve, enjoy a full-day safari drive, with a break in the afternoon for a packed lunch and relaxation. Resume the game drive until sunset, returning to Selous Safari Lodge for dinner, rest, and preparation for the next day's activities.

Bushman Walking Safari, Village Tour And Boat Safari

In the morning, before breakfast, engage in a 1.5-hour bushwalking safari. Afterward, return for breakfast. From 10 AM, embark on a village tour at Mloka village until lunchtime, followed by a return to the camp for lunch.

At 4:00 PM, head to the Rufiji River for a boat safari until sunset. Return to Selous Safari Lodge for dinner, rest, and preparation for the next day's adventures.

Full-day Game Drive on Different Routes in Nyerere National Park (Selous GR) & Visit Hotspring

Following breakfast, embark on another full-day game drive until evening, exploring different routes from the previous day. Our professional drivers and guides will pick you up from the lodge or camp. Today's adventure promises sightings of various animals including elephants, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and more. Immerse yourself in birdwatching and diverse landscapes featuring wetlands, dry grasslands, light acacia forests, and elevated terrain offering panoramic views of distant mountains.

You'll also have the opportunity to visit a hot spring and possibly swim, contingent upon road accessibility, particularly during the rainy season when roads may be muddy.

In the afternoon, enjoy a packed lunch and some leisure time before resuming the game drive. As evening approaches, return to the camp or lodge for dinner, rest, and preparations for the following day's activities.

Maasai Culture and Flying Back to Zanzibar

Around 8 AM, after breakfast, your driver will transport you to a Maasai Village. Spend 2 to 3 hours immersing yourself in Maasai culture before returning to the camp or lodge for lunch. After lunch, enjoy some leisure time before being picked up for transfer to Mtemere Airstrip for a flight back to Zanzibar around 4 PM. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, our driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel for drop-off.
