Your safari begins in Arusha with a drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant population, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and many species of birds.

After an exciting day in the park, continue to your accommodation for overnight.

After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before reaching the vast Serengeti plains.

Enjoy game viewing along the way and, depending on wildlife movements and your arrival time, continue with an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti. The park is home to an extraordinary variety of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras.

Today is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife destinations. Enjoy a full-day game drive across the plains, with the flexibility to follow the best wildlife sightings of the day.

The Serengeti offers excellent opportunities to see the Big Five as well as cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and an incredible variety of birdlife. If traveling during the Great Migration, your guide will focus on areas where the herds are most likely to be found.

Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Wake early and depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s most spectacular natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Descend into the crater for a game drive among its rich wildlife. The crater floor is home to large numbers of lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino.

After exploring the crater, ascend and begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or evening.
