We'll pick you up from the airport and then transfer you to the hotel, with an optional tour of Arusha city along the way. This short city tour will introduce you to Tanzania and prepare you for your trip the next day. In the evening, we'll brief you on the activities planned for the rest of the tour.

Day 2

After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you'll depart for Tarangire National Park. Known for its massive baobabs and large herds elephant herds, Tarangire is a small park with a significant wildlife population, rivaled only by Ngorongoro in density. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch during your safari drive, with ample time to explore the park, observe wildlife, and take photos. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 3

After breakfast, we'll embark on a six-hour drive to the Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, we'll make a brief stop at the gate to admire the breathtaking crater for about 20 minutes. You'll have the option to visit a Maasai Village to learn about the daily life of the local people (an additional $10-20 USD).
In the late afternoon, we'll arrive in the Seronera, the center of Serengeti, and begin a game drive. As we explore the park, we'll continue the game drive into the late evening, experiencing the sunset in the Serengeti while observing wild animals up close. There's a chance we might witness a predator hunt! Finally, we'll head to the camp for your overnight stay.

Day 4
Northern Serengeti National Park

We’ll explore the expansive Serengeti as we travel northwest today, following the wildlife’s movements.
After an early breakfast, we'll depart for a morning game drive, taking a picnic lunch with us. The drive will concentrate on the Mara River, where we hope to witness herds of migrating animals crossing. We'll continue the game drive until evening, at which time we'll return to your accommodations for dinner and your overnight stay. Keep an eye out for animals near the camp!

Day 5
Central Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, we will go on a game drive in the southern area of the park toward Seronera. Eventually, we will exit the Serengeti in the late afternoon and make our way to your lodge near the Ngorongoro Crater. The lodge is located on the crater rim and features a spectacular view. The drive to the Ngorongoro Crater takes about two hours.

Day 6

After an early breakfast, you'll descend onto the crater for a full day of game viewing. The crater is home to a variety of wildlife including zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, and the rare black rhinos. The stunning colors and dramatic clouds make the crater a truly surreal experience. Due to its natural beauty, the Ngorongoro Crater is recognized as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. In the late afternoon, you'll return to your accommodations in Arusha or be transferred to the airport.
