Day 2

Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

Early morning about 7:am taking a panoramic drive north-west through the famous Luwero Triangle. Stop over at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Opened up in 1998, the Rhino fund aims at re introducing black and white Rhinos in to Uganda’s protected areas as well as educating the local communities on endangered Rhinos, poaching and environmental conservation. The Rhino trek takes 1-2 hours and you will get an opportunity of viewing them at close quarters kob. Have a lunch stop in Masindi and continue on to the top of the falls. Checking in the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Explore Murchison Falls National Park

Explore Murchison Falls National Park

Early morning game drive to search for giraffes, lions, hart beasts, elephants, cape buffalo and many other mammals. Birds include the Black Chested Snake Eagle, Blue Napped Mousebirds, the Secretary bird, Swallow Tailed Bee-eaters and the Silver Headed Agama. After lunch go for 2 hours boat ride on the placid Victoria Nile to the foot of the magnificent Murchison Falls, this is the point where the Nile plunges through a narrow crevice and over 40 meters drop. On the boat ride expect to see many elephants come to drink water, the Nile crocodile, pools of hippo, water bucks and a variety of bird species.

After breakfast our safari driver guide and departure for your amazing journey to Kibale forest national Park, you will have a lunch stopover at fort portal town and late processed to Kibale Forest. This evening go for the Bigodi swamp primate walk or Bigodi community walk
The Bigodi community walk leads you to the homes of the local communities who stay near the park. While on this village walk, you will be escorted by a local resident with enough information about the culture and norms of different people and their communities. This walk goes through home stays and it will also give you opportunity to visit local schools and churches. This walk will expose you to the village life especially in the remote areas. After drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

An early breakfast and it is time for your Chimpanzee Habituation Experience, you will participate in an orientation and you are off into the deep forest to meet the group that is habituated. You will be with a ranger/guide, trackers, and others that are part of the Chimpanzees tracking
Chimpanzee tracking is a learning experience, you will spend one hour in the presence of a group of chimpanzees observing their habits and ways. You will also receive plenty of input from your guide since he keeps you informed of what is happening before you.
The chimpanzees will not be the only primates or wildlife that you will spot, but this is home to 12 other primates, the 350-plus species of birds, 200 plus primates and mammals that are found in the Kibale Forest Park.

After breakfast drive to Amabere ga Nyinamwiru (Breasts of Nyinamwiru) daughter of King Bukuku of the Batembuzi dynasty, It is one of the seven wonders in Uganda located near the NyakasuraSchool within the Kabarole district in the western part of Uganda, It is a limestone site that has stalagmites as well as stalactites. The meaning of Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru is translated in the local language as “the Breasts of Nyina Mwiru” The cave was named after one of the daughters of King Bukuku who was then ruler of the Batembuzi Dynasty and ancestor of the current-day Babito Kings of Bunyoro and Toro Kingdoms.
We will have a lunch break and later drive to the Karambi Tombs the burial grounds of Omukama Kasagama &amp. After driving to Queen Elisabeth National Park. Dinner and overnight at.

You will wake up early in the morning and head to the park headquarters to join other clients for briefing about dos and don’ts while with mountain gorillas on your tracking experience. After briefing, you will start your trek into the forest guided by ranger/guides. During your trek, you may encounter several birds, other animals and primates in the forest and once you have found the gorillas you will spend one hours with them and return back to the Lodge for overnight. You will have an opportunity to listen and observer as you ask question to the guide and taking photos and videos. After transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and have a evening boat ride on lake Bunyonyi.
