Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After your early morning breakfast our driver-guide shall be ready for your adventurous transfer journey to Kibale National Park via Mubende District and having a lunch stop in Fort Portal. You will have a rewarding break at the top of one of the hills where you will have lunch. After this activity drive towards Kibale Forest National Park. You will arrive early evening in time for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Community Walk in Kibale Forest National Park

After morning breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters for briefing before going for chimpanzee tracking. Upon arrival, you will be briefed and grouped in numbers of a maximum of 8 people but sometimes you can exclusively go alone but on rare occasions. Once you have located the chimpanzees, you will spend a valuable time of 1 Hour and then transfer to the picking point where you will be driven to your hotel for lunch. You have an option to spend a whole day with the chimpanzees in the forest at an extra top-up (Chimpanzee habituation).

After lunch, you will then drive to Bigodi wetland a community wetland tour for the birding, community and primate walk. This is less strenuous and full of community interaction experience. You will be able see different monkey species and lots of beautiful birds such as the Great Blue Turaco, women projects and the whole African community setting experience. Return later to your hotel in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
