Day 1

Your safari begins with an early morning transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to the airport for your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, your professional safari guide will welcome you and drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately 2 hours away.

Tarangire is famous for its giant baobab trees, large elephant herds, and excellent wildlife viewing. Enjoy an afternoon game drive where you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, and a variety of bird species. During the dry season, the Tarangire River attracts large concentrations of wildlife, making it one of Tanzania's best parks for game viewing.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy beautiful views of the highlands as you travel toward the endless plains of the Serengeti.

Arrive in Central Serengeti in time for lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Serengeti National Park is home to one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, including lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and countless antelope species. Your guide will take you to some of the park's most productive wildlife areas, making every game drive unique.

As the sun begins to set, continue to your safari camp for dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 3

Start the day with a morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Continue exploring the Serengeti in search of predators, grazing herbivores, and the diverse wildlife that makes this park world-famous. Depending on the season, you may also encounter the wildebeest migration.

After lunch, begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area while enjoying a final game drive through the Serengeti. Ascend the lush Ngorongoro Highlands, where cooler temperatures and scenic landscapes provide a relaxing end to the day.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive. Known as one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife destinations, the crater offers an excellent chance to see the Big Five in a single day. Look out for black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, and a variety of birdlife, including flamingos around the crater lakes.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending and driving back to Arusha Airport. Board your afternoon flight to Zanzibar, where our representative will meet you and transfer you back to your hotel, bringing your Tanzania safari from Zanzibar to an unforgettable close.
