Your private safari begins with a relaxed departure from Arusha, travelling towards Lake Manyara National Park beneath the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment. After entering the park, your guide will take you through its contrasting landscapes—from groundwater forests and open woodland to the lakeshore. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, baboons and abundant birdlife, with the possibility of encountering Manyara's famous tree-climbing lions.
Rather than trying to combine another major destination into the day, you'll have time to properly enjoy Manyara before continuing to your carefully selected accommodation in the Karatu area for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater | Wildlife at Its Most Concentrated
After breakfast, journey into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day private game drive.
The crater is one of Tanzania's most remarkable wildlife settings, with its enclosed ecosystem offering excellent opportunities to encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Your guide will choose the day's route according to wildlife movements and conditions, allowing the experience to unfold naturally rather than following a rigid checklist.
Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater before ascending in the afternoon and returning to your lodge in Karatu for a relaxed evening.

Day 3

Tarangire National Park | Elephants & Baobabs to Arusha
Your journey continues to Tarangire National Park, a beautiful contrast to the previous two days. Known for its magnificent baobab trees, seasonal river and large elephant populations, Tarangire offers a more spacious and intimate safari atmosphere.
Spend the day exploring the park with your private guide, looking for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions and other wildlife. The combination of dramatic scenery and abundant wildlife makes Tarangire a fitting final chapter to this short Northern Circuit journey.
After your final game drive, you'll leave the park and continue to Arusha, arriving later in the afternoon.
