Day 1

Upon arrival at the airport, our skilled guides will extend a warm welcome to start your adventure. The journey begins with a picturesque morning drive at 7:00am through the heart of rural Uganda towards Kibale National Park (approximately four hours). Along the way, enjoy a delicious lunch in the charming town of Fort Portal at 12:00pm. After lunch, continue the scenic drive to our carefully selected lodge. Check in and unwind, immersing yourself in the tranquil surroundings. Dinner, which may be served by the campfire, promises a relaxing and enchanting evening. This journey features not only travel and relaxation but also invites you to explore the beauty of rural Uganda. Day 2

You’ll wake up early in time for breakfast at 6:30am before heading to the park headquarters by 7:00am. Here, you'll receive a briefing from the park rangers before embarking on a group trek with an armed ranger to encounter chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Capture memorable moments with videos and photographs during this unique experience.

After the trek, return to the lodge for a delicious lunch and some short relaxation to recharge. Around 3:00pm, you’ll head to the Bigodi wetlands for a swamp walk. Accompanied by a local guide, explore the biodiversity of the area and spot birds like the great blue turaco, as well as observe primates in their natural habitat.

Return to the lodge in the evening for relaxation and reflection, enjoying the serene atmosphere at the lodge. As a tip, check out the episode “Apes” on the second season of the Netflix series "Animals,” which is based in Kibale, to get a glimpse of what awaits you!

Day 3

After breakfast at 9:00am you’ll check out at 10:00am and embark on a scenic two-hour journey to Queen Elizabeth Park, enjoying the picturesque landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival, check in at your accommodation and enjoy a delicious lunch. After relaxing, join a thrilling boat cruise at 2:00pm along the Kazinga Channel. Marvel at families of elephants, schools of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and diverse bird species during this three-hour cruise, capturing memorable moments along the way.

Return to the lodge around 5:00pm, where you can enjoy a relaxing evening and witness the sun setting over the savanna as the wildlife return from the channel. Indulge in local specialties for dinner and gather around the campfire to gaze at the starry sky.

Day 4

Wake up at sunrise and then eat breakfast before embarking on an exhilarating game drive on the Kasenyi plains at 7:00am, encountering diverse wildlife such as bushbucks, climbing lions, and elephants. Enjoy the captivating beauty of the savanna during this two-hour drive.

Depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Ishasha sector at 9:30am, enjoying a 4 to 5-hour journey across diverse landscapes. Have lunch en route and continue to enjoy the scenic drive.

Arrive in Bwindi around 2:30pm, check into your accommodation, and relax. Take in the panoramic views of the impenetrable forest, setting the stage for your gorilla trek tomorrow. Admire the wildlife and nature present at your lodge and enjoy a calm evening and dinner before retiring early.

Day 5

Wake up at 6:00am and eat a hearty breakfast before the gorilla trekking experience. At 7:00am, you’ll get a comprehensive briefing before heading into the rainforest for a 2-6-hour trek. Led by an experienced ranger, absorb the fascinating nature and vibrant wildlife before your trek culminates in a one-hour interaction with the gentle giants.

After the gorilla trekking, return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch and time to reflect on the extraordinary gorilla encounter. At 4:30pm, you’ll embark on a community walk to engage with the local Batwa people and explore community craft shops for unique souvenirs.

Return to the lodge around 7:30pm for dinner and a relaxing evening.

At 3:00pm, we’ll stop at the equator for a photo opportunity and a fascinating experiment. You’ll eat lunch at a local restaurant, savoring the flavors of Uganda.

During the journey to Entebbe, you’ll take in panoramic views of Uganda's stunning landscapes. Reflect on the unforgettable safari experiences as you approach Entebbe in the late evening, cherishing the memories created during your adventure.
