Day 1

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary - Murchison Falls National Park

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary - Murchison Falls National Park

You’ll be picked up at 7:00 am (or your arrival time) from Entebbe Airport. We’ll then set off for Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda with white rhinos.

The journey takes approximately 3–4 hours across Uganda’s unique landscapes. Upon arrival, we will have lunch at the Sanctuary before embarking on an hour-long walking tour to observe the rhinos up close. The sanctuary is also home to a variety of wildlife, including monkeys and birds, so keep an eye out for these as well.

After the tour, we'll continue for another two hours to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, we’ll visit the top of the falls, where you will witness the sheer force of nature as the river rushes toward the edge before dramatically plunging 43 meters (141 feet) into the gorge below.

Following this eventful day, we’ll proceed to our lodge, just a 15-minute drive away, where you can check in and relax.

Day 2

Wake up at 5:30 am and get ready to start the day with a packed breakfast at 6:00 am, preparing for an adventure-filled morning. The game drive lasts for four hours, offering the chance to see a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, lions, buffaloes, leopards, hartebeests, Uganda kobs, antelopes, elephants, and more.

At 10:00 am, we’ll return to the lodge to relax after an eventful game drive, giving you time to review all the pictures of your incredible wildlife encounters. At 2:00 pm, we’ll embark on a two-hour, relaxing boat safari along the famous Nile River. As we cruise past lush riverbanks, you will witness abundant wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species, while soaking in the tranquil scenery.

After the boat cruise, we’ll return to the lodge for a relaxing dinner with a stunning savanna sunset. The day ends with stories of the day’s adventure around a campfire.

Day 3

Begin the day at 7:00am with a tranquil five-hour drive from Murchison Falls to Kibale, enjoying picturesque landscapes along the way. We’ll take a break in the charming tourism town of Fort Portal for a delightful lunch. Upon reaching Kibale, we’ll check in at the lodge, unwind, and enjoy the serene surroundings. Dinner will be at the lodge, followed by an optional campfire experience to end the day.

Day 4

Start the day early with a wake-up call at 6:00 am, followed by breakfast at 6:30 am. At 7:00 am, you’ll head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the rangers before embarking on a guided trek with an armed ranger. Encounter chimpanzees in their natural habitat and capture memorable moments through videos and photographs.

Later you will return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch, followed by a short break to recharge for the afternoon activities. At 3:00 pm we will make our way to the Bigodi Wetlands for a guided swamp walk. A local guide will enhance the experience, pointing out the region’s rich biodiversity, including primates and birds such as the striking great blue turaco. In the evening you will return to the lodge for a peaceful evening, reflecting on the day’s adventures in a serene setting.

Day 5

Begin the day with a hearty breakfast at 9:00 am, followed by check-out at 10:00 am. From here we’ll embark on a scenic two-hour journey through Uganda’s stunning landscapes to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival at the lodge at 12:30 pm, you’ll check in and enjoy a delicious lunch. After a short rest, get ready for an afternoon adventure.

At 2:00 pm we’ll set out on a three-hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Witness large herds of elephants, schools of hippos, sunbathing crocodiles, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species.

At 5:00pm we’ll return to the lodge for a relaxed evening. Enjoy the stunning sunset over the savanna as wildlife makes its way back from the channel. End the day with a delightful dinner featuring local specialties, followed by a peaceful campfire under the starry African sky.

Wake up to a magical sunrise at 6:00 am and enjoy a delightful breakfast. At 7:00 am, we’ll embark on an exhilarating game drive through the Kasenyi plains. Encounter a variety of wildlife, including bushbucks, elephants, and even the famous tree-climbing lions. Experience the breathtaking beauty of the savanna during this two-hour adventure.

At 9:30 am we will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through the Ishasha sector. The four to five-hour journey takes you through diverse landscapes, with a scenic lunch stop along the way.

You’ll arrive in Bwindi at 2:30 pm and check into your accommodations. Take in the panoramic views of the impenetrable forest, setting the stage for your upcoming gorilla trek. Enjoy the serene surroundings, observe the wildlife near your lodge, and unwind with a peaceful evening and dinner before an early night.

Day 7

Rise at 6:00 am and enjoy a hearty breakfast before embarking on your gorilla trekking experience at 7:00 am. Attend a comprehensive briefing by park rangers to prepare for the adventure ahead.

At 8:00am you will head into the dense rainforest of Bwindi for a trek that can take anywhere from two to six hours. Led by an experienced ranger, you’ll immerse yourself in the beauty of the forest, observe diverse wildlife, and witness the fascinating behavior of mountain gorillas. You’ll spend an hour interacting with these gentle giants.

Return to the lodge at 2:30pm for a well-deserved lunch and take time to reflect on the extraordinary gorilla encounter. At 4:30pm you will visit with the Batwa community, an indigenous group with deep-rooted traditions. Gain insights into their way of life and explore local craft shops for unique handmade souvenirs.

At 7:30pm you will return to the lodge for a relaxing dinner and evening.

Wake up at 9:00 am to the soothing sounds of nature and enjoy a relaxed breakfast amid the lush forest surroundings. At 11:00 am you will bid farewell to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and begin the return journey to Entebbe.

At 3:00 pm you will stop at the equator for a memorable photo opportunity and an engaging water experiment. Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant.

You’ll then embark on a seven-hour drive back to Entebbe, taking in the panoramic views of Uganda’s diverse landscapes. As you arrive in Entebbe, take a moment to reflect on your unforgettable safari experiences.
