Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Our representative will meet you at the airport or at your Nairobi hotel for a briefing and introduce you to your safari driver guide. Afterward, depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the Great Rift Valley, viewing sceneries en route to arriving at Pink Lake, often referred to by its great masses of Flamingos. You will check in at your hotel around lunchtime. After lunch, proceed to an evening game drive in the park with numerous animals. Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingos and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake is a soda lake on the floor of the Rift Valley. The sight of millions of flamingos at times is quite spectacular. From a distance, the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, leopards, zebras, buffaloes, waterbuck, and baboons are some of the other wildlife that can be spotted here.
