Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park and afternoon safari

Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer to the ferry terminal for your crossing to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will be met by our team and continue your journey to Mikumi National Park by either minivan or the SGR electric train, enjoying scenic views of the Tanzanian countryside along the way.

Upon arrival in the park, you will stop for lunch before embarking on your first exciting game drive in a 4x4 open safari vehicle. Accompanied by a professional safari guide, you will explore the vast plains of Mikumi, renowned for their rich wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, antelopes, and many other species. The game drive continues until sunset, offering excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography.

Then be transferred to Chambo Villas for dinner and an overnight stay. Relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings as you prepare for another unforgettable day of safari adventure.

Morning Safari and Return to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast at 6:00 a.m., depart for a morning game drive in Mikumi National Park, giving you another opportunity to spot wildlife and enjoy the stunning scenery of the African savannah.

In the afternoon, transfer to the SGR railway station and board the train to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, continue to the airport for your domestic flight back to Zanzibar City. On arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met and transferred to your hotel, marking the end of your memorable safari adventure.
