Mikumi National Park, a sub-Serengeti and Tanzania's fourth-largest national park, is easily accessible from Zanzibar. It covers 3,230 km² (1,247 mi²), and it is set between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the southeast.
