Dar es Salaam - Selous Game Reserve

You will depart from Dar es Salaam and head to Selous Game Reserve. The drive will take approximately 5 hours. On arrival, enjoy a hot lunch at the camp. You will arrive in Selous in the afternoon where you will check in and then depart for an exciting boat safari. Later in the day, you will return to Africa Safari Camp for dinner and to relax after the boat safari.

Selous Game Reserve

Before breakfast, you will depart for a walking safari and then return for breakfast. Proceed on a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Explore the Selous habitat observing lion, giraffe, and elephant just to mention a few. Selous is also well known for being home to more than 440 bird species. At the end of the day, you will head to Ndovu Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. The location of Ndovu Lodge Selous is amazing.

Selous - Mikumi National Park

After an early breakfast, you will prepare to leave Ndovu Lodge Selous for your next adventure in Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival in Mikumi, you will take off for an exciting afternoon game drive. Later, head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay at Mikumi Tanapa Cottages, located inside the park. It is a very promising point from which to view as many animals as possible.

After an early breakfast, you will depart from Mikumi Park Cottages. Head out for an exciting full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park with a lunch box. After the game drive, you will return to Mikumi Park Cottages for dinner and an overnight stay.

Mikumi to Dar es Salaam

After an early breakfast, you will check out and start on your trip back to Dar es Salaam. You will experience your final game drive on your journey. The drive will take approximately 6 hours. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at the airport, hotel, or other specified location. This is where your safari will end.

Should you have a proceeding tour to Zanzibar, we can depart from Mikumi with enough driving time so that you can catch the ferry boat to Zanzibar.
