2-Day Fly-in Nyerere NP from Zanzibar, Drive-out to Dar

Hotel Pickup & Flight transfer to Nyerere NP (Selous)

You'll have a morning pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar for your scheduled flight to Nyerere National Park (part of the formerly Selous Game Reserve) arriving for a full breakfast. After breakfast, your wildlife experience begins as soon as you enter the park, heading into prime game viewing areas where you can catch a glimpse of some of the amazing animals. At noon, you will be having lunch at one of the picnic spots inside the park.

You'll enjoy the thrill of spotting impalas, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, elephants, buffalos, kudu, among other animals. Your entire day will be spent in wildlife viewing, bird watching, and stopping off at the various waterholes en route. You will depart the park in the late afternoon and return to the camp for an evening of relaxation.

Boat Safari, Maasai Boma Tour & Road Transfer to Dar es Salaam

Start your day with a revitalizing cup of coffee or tea before embarking on an unforgettable boat safari in the mighty Rufiji River. From 6:30 AM to 08:30 AM, glide across the waters, taking in the stunning scenery and wildlife. You will be back at the camp at 9:00 am for the full breakfast.

Following the full breakfast, immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Maasai people by visiting one of the nearby villages. From 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, experience a Maasai Village Tour, learning about their traditions, way of life, and vibrant culture. After the tour, you will drive to Dar es Salaam. You'll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
