En Route to Masai Mara

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be picked up and transferred by road to the Masai Mara National Reserve (about 5 to 6 hours). Check in at your lodge, settle in, and enjoy lunch.

Later on, after some rest, take an afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara, where you may encounter a variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and more. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge.

Masai Mara Exploration

Go on an early morning game drive to catch the sunrise and witness predators on the hunt. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Relax at the lodge or participate in optional activities such as guided nature walks or visits to a Maasai village. Return to the lodge for lunch. Take an afternoon game drive to explore different areas of the reserve and spot more wildlife. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge.

Mara River and Wildlife Migration

The day begins with an early morning departure for a game drive towards the Mara River, famous for the dramatic wildebeest and zebra crossings during the great migration (seasonal). Then, have a picnic breakfast near the river while observing the wildlife activity. Explore the riverbanks for crocodiles, hippos, and other riverine wildlife. Lunch will also be served at a scenic spot within the reserve.

In the afternoon, take a game drive back to your lodge or camp, with opportunities to spot more wildlife. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge or camp.

Departure to Nairobi

You will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight to your next destination of choice. This marks the end of a memorable wildlife experience you had in the Mara.
