Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Berngo Safaris and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. This vibrant town sits at the base of Mount Meru and serves as the gateway to Tanzania’s famous northern safari circuit.
After check-in, you will have time to relax from your journey, enjoy the peaceful lodge environment, and prepare for the adventure ahead. Depending on arrival time, you may explore the town or simply unwind at the hotel. Your guide will provide a short safari briefing about the upcoming journey. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Arusha.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, a scenic journey through rural landscapes and Maasai villages. The park is famous for its giant baobab trees and large populations of elephants that often gather near the Tarangire River.
Upon arrival, begin a game drive exploring the diverse habitats of the park. Wildlife sightings commonly include elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas, and various bird species. Predators such as lions may also be seen resting in the tall grasses. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Later in the day, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of rolling hills, Maasai settlements, and dramatic volcanic landscapes. A brief stop at a viewpoint may offer stunning views of the Ngorongoro Crater.
As you enter the Serengeti, the landscape opens into vast plains stretching as far as the eye can see. Begin your first exciting game drive in the park where wildlife is abundant. You may encounter giraffes, elephants, lions, cheetahs, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Continue game viewing as you head toward your lodge or tented camp where dinner and overnight await.

Today you will spend a full day exploring the remarkable wildlife of Serengeti National Park. An early morning game drive offers excellent opportunities to see predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs while they are still active. The golden sunrise over the Serengeti plains provides unforgettable scenery and photography opportunities.
During the day your guide will explore different areas of the park searching for wildlife and explaining the ecosystem that supports the famous Great Migration. Depending on the season, you may witness large herds of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing the afternoon game drive. Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before beginning the journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you travel across the plains, you may encounter wildlife along the route including elephants, antelopes, and predators resting in the grasslands.
The drive gradually climbs into the cooler Ngorongoro Highlands where the scenery becomes greener and more mountainous. Upon reaching the crater rim, stop at a viewpoint to admire the spectacular panorama of the Ngorongoro Crater below. Later you will arrive at your lodge located on or near the crater rim where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6
Lake manyara National Park
Lake manyara National Park
After breakfast, you'll travel to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. This beautiful park lies beneath the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment and is known for its lush groundwater forest and diverse wildlife.
During the game drive you may encounter elephants moving through the forest, large troops of baboons along the road, giraffes feeding on acacia trees, and a wide variety of bird species. The lakeshore often hosts flamingos, pelicans, and other water birds. Lake Manyara is also famous for its unique tree-climbing lions, occasionally seen resting in the branches of acacia trees.
After the game drive and picnic lunch inside the park, depart in the late afternoon and drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at your hotel.

At the appropriate time, a Berngo Safaris representative will transfer you from the hotel to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your onward air transfer.
