Day 1

At 7:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and drive south through Masai country to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated. After a stopover lunch at the lodge, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge in the evening for dinner. With the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro (on clear days), and spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo, and various plains game you will collect a gallery of amazing pictures.

Day 2

Amboseli National Park Escapade

After a dawn game drive, you will return to the lodge for breakfast. The rest of the morning will be spent at leisure or by the swimming pool. You will have lunch and a final game drive in the late afternoon beneath the snow-capped peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
At 329 sq km Amboseli is a small park and lacks the profusion of animal species found in the Mara, but the landscape provides limited cover so you have better chances of seeing some of the larger predators. There is also a small seasonal lake that comes to life after rains with a vibrant shade of pink from flamingoes!
You also have the option of visiting a Masai village (for an extra cost) to get an understanding of the Masai way of life and customs.

Day 3

Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

You will have breakfast at leisure before departing towards Tsavo West National Park.
You will look out for elephants, zebras, buffalos, and other plains game on the game drive. You will make a visit to Mzima Springs, which are favorite haunts of both hippos and crocodiles that can be seen from an underwater observation chamber.
As dusk ensues, you will enjoy a cool drink by the bar overlooking the animal waterhole and swimming pool. You are welcome to use the binoculars to spot animals in the far distance of the Rhino Sanctuary.

You will enjoy an early morning breakfast and a final peek at the waterhole as you depart towards the large Tsavo East.
You will enjoy a game drive en route looking out for elephants, strikingly beautiful lesser kudus, majestic elands, lithe impalas, and elegant grants gazelles. You will enjoy breakfast followed by a full day in Tsavo East with packed lunch.
The park is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk, and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.
Back at the lodge, there is an Underground Photo Hide for camera enthusiasts seeking awesome Kodak moments with wild animals. You may also visit Mudanda Rock – this rock towers above a natural dam which draws many elephants to quench their thirst every day. There is also Lugards Falls where the Galana River cascades over a series of rapids created by interestingly shaped rocks.
