The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, which is the only source of water for the wild animals here during the dry season. The park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons.

Program: A full-day of game drives Serengeti National Park. You will continue to explore the park looking for animals with the help of your guide.
Description: Serengeti National Park is located in northern Tanzania. It is a World Heritage Site occupying an area of around 15,000 square kilometers, with over two million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopard, 550 cheetahs, and some 500 bird species. The park is filled with massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season. The North Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife, including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile, and the rare oribi antelope.
