Welcome to Namibia - High Tea and Giraffe Feeding

On the day of your arrival at the International Airport Hosea Kutako close to Windhoek, we will welcome you and assist you in taking over your rented car. We will also discuss your self-drive travel route as well as the most important tips and tricks and answer any questions that may still be open.

Then, you'll drive to Voigtland Guesthouse, which is just outside Windhoek. Here, you can start your journey in a relaxed atmosphere. The pool offers relaxation and well-being with a view of the waterhole where giraffes and other animals may linger. Relax your mind, body, and soul at Voigtland Spa and be invited to a journey of peace and tranquility.

You'll turn your stay into a highlight with a luxurious high tea in the afternoon, followed by an unforgettable giraffe feeding experience right by your table.

After a relaxed breakfast, your journey takes you via Okahandja to the Waterberg Plateau Park. After a copious breakfast, you'll leave Waterberg Plateau Lodge and travel north via the small towns of Otjiwarongo, Otavi, and Tsumeb. You can enjoy lunch along the road before reaching your friendly and relaxed destination for tonight: Mushara Bush Camp, situated just 10 km from the Von Lindequist Gate of the world-famous Etosha National Park. Today, you'll have the opportunity to drive into the National Park to observe many different antelope species, giraffes, elephants, and with some luck, even lions, hyenas, leopards, and rhinos.
