At the foot feet of Mount Meru – the fifth highest mountain in whole Africa continent lies Arusha National Park. A beautiful park famous for its green surroundings, lakes, unique views and black and white colubus monkey. A walking safari is a unique and exciting experience and an opportunity to be close to the wild animals, face 2 face. Something that is only possible in a few parks.
We will start the day with a short drive to Arusha National Park, which will take about 30mins. From here will start driving through the beautiful green surroundings of Arusha Park to spot the local wildlife with a breathtaking view of Mount Meru in the background. The scents & sounds of the African savannah are best experienced on foot. Here you'll walk alongside wild animals roaming freely in their natural habitat. With Your experienced ranger, knows what you can and can't do around wild animals.

We depart Moshi for Marangu gate for the necessary formalities before beginning our trek. The hiking trail begins by ascending a beautiful, tropical rain forest. At the upper edge of the forest line, we have the opportunity to see blue monkeys. The trail then widens to expose beautiful hillsides until we reach Mandara Huts. We will go past Mandara Huts to Maundi Crater just because from there we will have best spot view of Kilimanjaro from near. Then we will descend town through the Marangu gate and meet your driver he who will drive you back to Njia Panda at your designated hotel for overnight.

Day 3
Moshi/Njia Panda To Mkomazi National Park

Today early morning we will pick you up from the hotel in Arusha or Moshi and drive to Mkomazi with picnic lunch. As we arrive we will continue with game drives into different areas of the park exploring its beauty and wilderness. Mkomazi shares its ecosystem with Tsavo park that forms the largest & important ecosystem on Earth. Animals tend to migrate between the two parks at different season of the year triggered by the rainfalls and draught. Common animals which you can see on game drives during Mkomazi safari include elephant, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, rhinos, hartebeest, oryx, eland & a varied species of antelopes. Predator such lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetah & jackals can also be spotted hunting or lying under shade. For bird lovers there is doubt that your safari in Mkomazi wort it because this park has over 400species of birds. Among common birds that you can see during your visit include bustards, ostriches, hoopoe, eagles, kingfishers, cormorants, flamingos, plovers & stocks.

Breakfast and after that departs to Rhino sanctuary tour where you will get the chance to see this strong and endangered creature at a close range. The rhino are restricted in a fenced area of 55 square kilometers inside the park. This is the only rhino sanctuary in the country with over 60 individual black rhino which you can see them easily than those which move freely in the wilderness like in Ngorongoro and Serengeti national parks. Afternoon return to the camp/Tanapa Rest Houses for lunch and after lunch pack your luggage ready to depart back to Arusha or Moshi.
