Arrive in Nanyuki, the gateway town to Mount Kenya. Check into the accommodation and in the afternoon explore the surroundings of Nanyuki, you have a visit to the Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy afterwards take a guided nature walk and in the evening enjoy dinner at your accommodation and relax.

Day 2

Mount Kenya - Olpejeta Conservancy

Mount Kenya - Olpejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, check-out and head to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Arrive for lunch at the camp and ready for afternoon game drive. Ol Pejeta is famous for its successful rhino conservation efforts. It is home to the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, as well as a sanctuary for the critically endangered northern white rhinos. Visitors have the opportunity to see these magnificent creatures up close and learn about the conservation work being done to protect them. Apart from rhinos, Ol Pejeta is home to the rest of the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards. Game drives offer excellent opportunities to spot these iconic animals, along with a wide variety of other wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and more. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

You will arrive in time for lunch and later in the evening have a guided nature walks which are an excellent way to explore the park's montane forests and discover its rich biodiversity up close with wildlife, birds, and plant species along the way. Diner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4

Start your day early with a hearty breakfast at your accommodation, then have a morning and afternoon game drive with lunch served at your lodge. Your experienced guide will accompany you, providing insights into the park's wildlife and ecosystem. Explore the lower altitudes of the park, where you will encounter species such as elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes. Keep an eye out for birds, including the colorful sunbirds and the elusive Aberdare cisticola. Ascend into the higher altitudes of the park, where the montane forests dominate the landscape, enjoy scenic views of the mountains and lush vegetation as you continue your game drive. In the evening resume your game drive, exploring different areas of the park, your guide will take you along winding trails, increasing your chances of spotting elusive species such as leopards and bongo antelopes. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
