Kigali city Tour

Kigali city tour. Visit Kigali Genocide Memorial Site, Kandt House, Camp Kigali Memorial and wind up the day by visiting more genocide memorial sites in Bugesera. This day, you will also have time to explore local restaurant and get to know more the capital city. Overnight in Kigali.

Transfer to the Southern Rwanda

On the Day 3 of your trip, you will be able to visit the Kings’ Palace and Ethnographic Museums with stop over at the Kamegeri Rock in the Southern Province of Rwanda. In the afternoon, go for the visit of Huye Mountain Coffee. Dinner and overnight in Huye.

Lake Kivu

On the day 4, after breakfast, departure from your Hotel at 6:30 am and you will drive through Nyungwe National Park heading to Karongi with stop overs for tea plantations and tea leaves collections & views and stop in Nyungwe for authentic village tour involving passing through the village, harvesting produce and cooking local produce. Afterwards, drive to Karongi. Meals and overnight at your Hotel.

Karongi Experience

Visit environmental Museum in Karongi and learn more on different plant varieties used for traditional medicine. Afterwards, experience boat ride in Lake Kivu, visit Amahoro and Napoleon islands. Lunch at Bethany Hotel and proceed for Afternoon transfer to Rubavu and overnight there.

Pottery Experience

In Rubavu, You will visit Potters community and do a cultural activity involving Handcraft experience with traditional women activities and dances. Go for Rubavu town sighting, have lunch at migano cafe and drive to Musanze. Dinner and overnight in Musanze.

Gorilla Guardians Village

Interaction with gorilla guardians community members on their history, culture. Offering an adventurous stay in a traditional rural, Rwandan village that has existed for centuries living with and next to mountain gorillas in the park. The village gives you a rare chance to meet local people, in their environment, with a taste of our culture and traditions. Activities include village walk, Visiting the king’s house replica, traditional dances, visiting a local traditional healers among others. Afterwards, visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey, have your local lunch and depart back to Kigali Airport drop off or your Hotel.
