Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

You will be picked up at the Nairobi hotel/airport and depart for Samburu National Reserve using 4WD Minivan. This will be a 6-hour road drive. There will be an en-route stopover to view Mount Kenya with its snow-capped peaks.
Later, you will arrive at the Sarova Shaba Game Lodge just in time for check-in and lunch.

With an open-roof vehicle, you will embark on your first game drive in the afternoon with a chance to spot the Grevy zebras, reticulated giraffes, gerenuks, Beisa oryx, and Somali ostrich, elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

Later in the evening, you'll drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Meals: Lunch, dinner and water will be provided.

Samburu National Reserve

Start with breakfast then morning game drive before sun get hot later return to the camp for lunch. Possible sightings of unique wildlife species like oryx, gerenuk, Gravy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and other wild animals’ peculiar to this semi-arid region.

Your game drives will be along the Ewaso Nyiro River where most of the wild animals are found. You will also be able to watch different species of birds found in the reserve. After lunch you will have afternoon game drive to climax game viewing.

In the evening, enjoy a delightful dinner and spend another night at the lodge, immersing yourself in the enchanting ambiance of the reserve.
