Nairobi-Shaba Game Reserve

Depart from Nairobi at 0700 hrs and drive north of Nairobi covering a distance of approximately 310 km. This is a scenic journey through the tea, coffee & sisal plantations. There will be an en-route stopover to view Mount Kenya with its snow-capped peaks. Your drive will proceed past the equator crossing to the semi-arid county of Samburu. Embark on your first game drive en route to our lodge for check-in and lunch. Another game drive is scheduled in the afternoon before dinner and overnight at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge. Meals: Lunch, dinner and bottled mineral drinking water.

Shaba Game reserve

This will be a full day of unlimited wildlife viewing. Possible sightings include unique wildlife species like oryx, gerenuk, Somali ostrich, Gravy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and other wild animals peculiar to this semi-arid region. Your game drives will be along the Ewaso Nyiro river where most of the wild animals are found. All meals and overnight at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge.
