Wake up early and ensure that you take heavy breakfast in preparation for a long day of activities. The key activity will be chimpanzee tracking during the Kanyanchu primates walk. The walk will expose you 3 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Tracking Safari to the thirteen primates found in Kibale National park and beautiful rain-forest, trees and butterflies.

Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale starts with a briefing at the park office. The Rangers will locate the group by following their hoots and calls. Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale is more predictable compared to the ones in Nyungwe in Rwanda or Budongo forest in Murchison Falls National Park. They are easier to find than anywhere else in Uganda. 3 large communities of chimps have been habituated in Kibale forest. Follow the advance team and meet the great chimpanzee, take photos and return back.

after your early morning breakfast, embark on the transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park beneath the Rwenzori mountain ranges, crossing through the equator line from the northern hemisphere to the southern hemisphere.

Have early breakfast and set off by 6.30am to go for the game drive in the beautiful Kasenyi plains which is the main animal watching area of the park. The game drive will last about 3-4 hours and some of the animals you expect to see include: elephants, buffaloes, lions, hyenas, antelopes, after return to the lodge for lunch and have some relaxation.

Later you shall go for the afternoon boat safari on Kazinga Channel which is scheduled to start at 2.00pm. The cruise will bring you close to a range of wildlife along the banks of the channel, such as hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, monitor lizards. The channel offers incredible bird watching opportunities as several water birds flock the banks of the channel, like pelicans, herons, lapwings, plovers, African skimmers, fish eagles, kingfishers. The boat cruise is about 2 hours long.
Drive through the scenic crater lakes region passing over ridges of various explosion craters enjoy panoramic views of landscape and animals.

Wake early morning and have breakfast. Check out your lodge and jump into the car for a transfer to Kisoro in Kigezi region. The drive will take you through the rolling hills that reward you with breathtaking views of the green landscapes. The drive will take about 5-7 hours southward of Uganda. You will enjoy lunch in Kabale town and later proceed to check-in at your booked lodge for an overnight stay, as you prepare for the gorilla trekking experience on the next day.

Day 6

Gorilla trekking and Batwa community experience

You will wake up very early to take breakfast. Our guide will pick you and take you to the park offices where you will be briefed and given information regarding gorillas trekking/tracking in Bwindi.

You will be assigned a gorilla group and given an opportunity to hire a porter at a cost of 15USD depending on your physical fitness. Your lodge can arrange for you packed lunch and drinking water.

Gorilla trekking takes anywhere from 2-6 hours depending on the location of your assigned gorilla family that particular day. Once you spot the gorillas, take as many photos as you can and try to follow instructions from the wardens/guides. After completing the trek, come back to your hotel, freshen up, eat/drink something and checkout. Thereafter, our guide will take you back to your hotel, or have lunch break as you wait to proceed on with the next activity of Batwa community, a traditional community of people who used to live in the Bwindi forest before eviction.

After your late morning breakfast, prepare your travel documents as your going to cross the border, then your driver guide will transfer you to Musanze Ruhengeri, a drive that can take you 3-hours. You can plan to pass by the the twin lakes of Ruhondo and Burera for a relaxation boat cruise on Lake Ruhondo that offers you panoramic views of the great Virunga ranges straddling in Uganda, Rwanda and Democratic republic of Congo.

Later proceed to your booked Lodge or Hotel In Musanze. Other Optional activities include;
City tour of Musanze originally known as Ruhengeri, an important town in the northern province of Rwanda, that was changed as a result of trying to remove memories of the horrific genocide actions as well as easing administration.

The lake is the sixth largest in Africa and presents as the largest Lake in Rwanda, lying in the Great Rift Valley of East AFrica. You will have options of activities to engage in as you plan to discover the hiden gems of Lake Kivu such as Kayaking, Cycling along the Lake Kivu serene roads, boat cruise to some unique Islanda like Napoleon Island, Amahoro Island or explore the most scenic beach in Karongi town, just a 100km drive away from Rubavu.

Yet another adventurous journey than before, after your early morning break fast, drive to the park reception Uwinka for briefing about the park activities, canopy walk experience, safety procedures, ask questions for further clarification and guidance before starting off the descend to the start of the canopy walk suspended bridge.

Canopy walk, suspended above a ravine in the lush montane rainforest of Nyungwe Np, the walk provides an exhilarating perspective on the ancient treetops and wildlife. Going through the Igishigishigi trail, meet the 160m long and 70m high suspension bridge that pumps your adrenaline before a single climb. Enjoy the walk over the bridge as you take photos of this experience, With thirteen species of primates living in the park, your spot some while watching from the sky, although those seeking them opt for a dedicated primate visit.

Walk back to the reception and embark on transfer to Kigali via Ethnographic museum in Butare as well as lunch break.

The city tour takes you to some sites such local city market like Kemironko, to experiience the sights and sounds of a busy day in Rwanda. Here the markets are teeming with shops and merchandise and hence easy to access some items, Proceed to the Genocide Memorial Centre where you meet an artisan shop with lots of souvenirs, walk inside the Museum house.

The Memorial is indeed a place where survivors feel whole and complete with their loved ones again. It's a center where Rwanda commemorates the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Located on Gisozi hill, is where the mass grave of 250,000 people are interred. The center through collaboration and partnership was built and opened in 2004, now a UNESCO world heritage. The extreme rising from misinformation and disinformation among the Hutu and Tutsi during the Belgian colonial rule which according to reports led to racialization among the Hutu, Tutsi and Twa ethnic groups. Finally walk inside to explore more events as you depart to the airport.
