Day 1

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Following familiarizing you with your guide and chef, we will transport you to Tarangire National Park, which is a two-hour journey from your hotel. Tarangire is renowned for its substantial number of ancient baobab trees and is home to the highest elephant population in the nation. You will be afforded exceptional opportunities to observe the dynamics of elephant family interactions. We will concentrate on areas with reported animal sightings during our game drive through the park, paying particular attention to carnivores such as cheetahs, leopards, and lions (due to their greater elusiveness). Giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras, among other herbivores, are abundant in the park.

We will subsequently have lunch at the Tarangire River picnic area, where we will be able to admire the river and the fauna that inhabits its vicinity. Although small monkeys and baboons might attempt to steal your lunch, you have nothing to fear about.
