Prepare for a mountain gorilla trek with early rising and appropriate attire. After breakfast, gather your packed lunch and attend a briefing at the park information center. Joining a group of eight, you'll be assigned a gorilla family to track, accompanied by armed rangers and a guide. The trek can vary from 45 minutes to 6 hours, requiring mental and physical preparedness.
As you traverse the terrain, encounter diverse wildlife and birds, guided by your knowledgeable guide. Upon meeting the gorilla family, spend an hour observing and photographing them respectfully. Return to receive your trekking certificate. In the evening visit the Batwa community where you will hike to reach the community and learn about how they survive, history traditional dances. After a hot breakfast, meet your guide who will drive you to ewaffe cultural village FOR THE Buganda cultural experience. You will engage in acticivies like farm tour, journey to the well, idiginous fruit feasting, local food preparation, bark cloth making, traditional games among others. These activities will expose you to African culture. You will also enjoy the traditional meal called Luwombo as your lunch. Then drive back to Kampala for dinner and overnight stay.

After having breakfast, you will drive to Mabamba swamp for shoebill tracking, you will board small boats that will sail you to the inner swamp to track for the shoebill stork. It is a bird endemic to Africa and its famous for its shoe shaped bill hence the name. Mabamba Swamp offers the best opportunity to see this bird in the wild as it patiently waits for the prey.
After the tracking drive to Kampala for souvenir shopping at Buganda Road and Have lunch as you prepare for your flight.
Drive to Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home with beautiful memories from wildlife, cultures, people, food, weather which make Uganda the Pearl of Africa.
