Wake up to the sounds of the savannah and embark on a thrilling game drive in search of the elusive tree-climbing lions lazily perched in fig trees. Though sightings are not guaranteed, the search itself is thrilling. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, buffaloes, and an array of antelope species. After the game drive, transfer to Kasenyi Plains, located in the northern sector of the park, for an overnight stay.

After a relaxed breakfast, enjoy a breathtaking boat trip along the Kazinga Channel, which links Lake George to Lake Edward. Marvel at the dense concentration of hippos, crocodiles, elephants quenching their thirst, and vibrant birdlife along the shores. Later in the afternoon, drive northward to Kibale Forest National Park, home to one of the highest concentrations of primates in Africa.

Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

Today is the highlight of your adventure in Kibale National Park renowned as the Primate capital of East Africa. After a briefing from experienced rangers, venture into the dense Kibale Forest in search of our closest cousins, the chimpanzees. As you track them through the undergrowth, listen for their loud calls echoing through the canopy. Witness them swinging, feeding, and interacting in their natural habitat.

After lunch and some rest, the afternoon takes you to Bigodi Wetland for a guided nature walk. Explore a rich eco system teeming with birdlife and other primates such as the red colobus monkeys and black and white colobus.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, begin your scenic transfer from Kibale Forest to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey takes you through lively trading centers, rural villages, and lush landscapes—offering a glimpse into Uganda’s diverse countryside.
Upon arrival at the park, head straight to the iconic Top of the Falls, where the mighty Nile River is squeezed through a narrow 7-meter gorge, crashing down in a powerful roar. Feel the mist on your face and marvel at one of the most dramatic natural sights in Africa.

After soaking in the views, continue to your lodge for check-in, dinner, and a relaxing evening as you prepare for the wildlife adventures ahead.

Wake up to the sounds of the wild and set off for an early morning game drive across the northern savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park. As the golden sun rises over the landscape, look out for giraffes, elephants, lions, buffaloes, Jackson’s hartebeest, oribis, and more. The morning hours are ideal for spotting predators as they finish their nocturnal hunts.

Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation before heading out again for an afternoon game drive, offering a second chance to catch what you may have missed earlier. With the sun beginning to set, the park comes alive with activity, and the golden light creates perfect photo opportunities.

After an early breakfast, begin your journey from Murchison Falls National Park toward Entebbe. En route, make a special stop at Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch, the only place in Uganda where you can see wild white rhinos in their natural habitat.

Join an experienced ranger for an exciting on-foot rhino tracking experience, getting up close to these magnificent, endangered giants while learning about ongoing conservation efforts.

After the trek, continue your drive to Entebbe. This marks the end of your unforgettable 7-day primate and wildlife safari.
