Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your professional guide will be waiting to whisk you away to Tarangire National Park. The transition from the airport to the wild is seamless, and within a few hours, you’ll find yourself in a prehistoric landscape dominated by "upside-down" Baobab trees.
Tarangire is famous for having the highest concentration of elephants in Northern Tanzania. During the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes a magnet for wildlife. You will spend the afternoon navigating the river loops where massive bull elephants and family herds bathe and drink.

Day 2
Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park
After an early breakfast, we journey to Lake Manyara National Park, a strikingly green sanctuary nestled at the base of the 600-meter-high Great Rift Valley Escarpment. This park is a lush contrast to the golden plains of Tarangire.
Your game drive begins in a dense groundwater forest, where mahogany and fig trees are alive with the chatter of blue monkeys and large baboon troops. As the forest opens up, you’ll reach the shimmering shores of the alkaline lake, which covers two-thirds of the park’s area.
You will also see hippos wallowing at the "Hippo Pool" and thousands of flamingos creating a pink ribbon along the water’s edge. In the late afternoon, we drive to Arusha for your overnight stay.

Day 3
Arusha National Park Game Drive + Walking safari
Arusha National Park Game Drive + Walking safari
On your final day, we trade the safari vehicle for a pair of hiking boots. After breakfast, we head to Arusha National Park for an exhilarating Walking Safari, one of the few places in Tanzania where you can safely experience the wild on foot under the protection of an armed ranger.
Feel the crunch of the earth beneath your feet and the thrill of the African bush as you walk through the shadows of Mount Meru. Without the hum of an engine, your senses sharpen; you’ll learn to identify animal tracks, discover the medicinal uses of local plants, and feel the true scale of the landscape. It is a profound way to connect with nature before your journey home.
The park is also a sanctuary for the striking Black and white Colobus monkey, which you can often spot leaping through the ancient montane forest canopy.
