Your adventure begins with a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha where our Golden Memories Safaris team will warmly welcome you. After a short briefing drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, diverse wildlife, and beautiful landscapes. Enjoy a full day game drive through the park, with opportunities to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and many other species as the day comes to an end continue toward the Ngorongoro area for your overnight stay.

Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

Rise early and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife areas. The crater’s fertile floor supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, giving you an excellent chance to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino.
After your crater game drive and lunch, begin the journey back to Arusha. In the evening, transfer to the airport for your night flight back to Zanzibar, bringing your unforgettable two-day safari adventure to an end.
