Journey from Mombasa Island to Tsavo East National Park

Depart from your hotel in Mombasa and travel toward Tsavo East National Park, passing through scenic landscapes on your way to one of Kenya’s largest and most iconic parks.

Upon arrival at Tsavo East, proceed directly to Voi Safari Lodge for check-in. After settling in, enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge.

In the afternoon, embark on your first exciting game drive through the park. Explore key attractions such as the Tsavo River, Yatta Plateau, Mdanda Rock, Lugard Falls, Voi River, and the iconic Aruba Dam. Tsavo East is particularly renowned for its striking red elephants, along with other wildlife including rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, and a rich variety of bird species.

Your game drive continues until sunset, offering excellent opportunities to observe wildlife in their natural habitats.

Return to the lodge in the evening for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

In the afternoon, continue exploring Ngutuni’s rich wildlife and breathtaking views. You’ll have ample opportunities to spot animals such as elephants, lions, giraffes, and more as the day unfolds.

Arrive at Ngutuni Lodge in the evening, just in time for check-in. Take some time to relax and unwind, then enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge.

After dinner, you have the optional opportunity (not included in the package cost) to participate in a thrilling night game drive, where you can spot nocturnal animals active after dark. This unique experience offers a fascinating glimpse into the behaviour of wildlife at night in the conservancy.

Ngutuni Conservancy to Haller Park (End of Travel)

Depart from Ngutuni Conservancy early in the morning and embark on a scenic drive to Haller Park in Mombasa. The journey typically takes around 3 to 4 hours, offering views of the diverse landscapes of Kenya along the way.

Upon arrival at Haller Park, take a guided tour to explore the rehabilitated landscapes. Discover the park's rich biodiversity, which includes a variety of plant species and an array of animals such as giraffes, hippos and crocodiles. Learn about the park's history and its transformation from a limestone quarry to a thriving ecological haven.
