Day 1

You will be picked up from your hotel or at the airport and start your tour in Stone Town, where you will get to explore this old town and visit museums, historical landmarks, old religious buildings, and local markets. Afterwards, you will have a spice tour and explore various spices that are produced in Zanzibar, such as cloves, cinnamon, black pepper, vanilla, and many other spices that are used in kitchens worldwide. Finally, you will get to visit Prison Island, which is also known as Changuu Island in which was a prison for slaves in the 18th century, but now is a home for giant land tortoises. The tour will end at your hotel in Stone Town or the airport.
