Nairobi to Samburu and Buffalo Springs National Reserve

You will be picked up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your place of residence in Nairobi and depart for Samburu, driving through Kenya's scenic central highlands with views of local villages, farmlands, and rugged landscapes. Arrive at your camp in time for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, proceed for a game drive in Buffalo Springs National Reserve, renowned for its picturesque springs, open savannahs, and diverse wildlife. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and the unique northern Kenya species including the Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx. As the sun sets over the reserve, return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Lions Cave Camp.

The reserve is also home to over 450 bird species, making it a paradise for bird enthusiasts. After breakfast, check out and depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Nanyuki, enjoying scenic views of central Kenya along the way. Arrive at your camp or lodge in time for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of East Africa's leading wildlife conservation areas. The conservancy is home to the Big Five, including large populations of elephants, buffaloes, lions, and rhinos. You may also have the opportunity to see the world's last two remaining northern white rhinos, a highlight of any visit to Ol Pejeta. The conservancy is also renowned for its conservation efforts and diverse wildlife, including cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species. After an exciting afternoon of wildlife viewing, return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
