In the morning, our driver will pick you up from your hotel to fly to Nyerere National Park. After landing at the Mtemere Airstrip at 07:00am our driver will take you to your lodge with breathtaking views For relaxation while waiting for Lunch.
Thereafter, Our guide will drive you to River Rufiji for an evening and sunset boat safari. Later on, we will go back to our accommodation for dinner and relaxation overnight.
Sunset Boat Trip, Nyerere National Park
Enjoy Tanzania's best boat safari when we take you out on the Rufiji River, which runs alongside (and into) Nyerere National Park. You'll almost certainly see hippos and crocodiles in the water, and you never quite know what's going to come down to the river's edge to drink.
It's common to see giraffes, impalas, waterbucks, kudus, warthogs, and - a highlight for those with good luck - elephants bathing or crossing the river.

Day 2
Game Drive, Dinner with a River View, and Sunset

After breakfast at 07h00, you will depart for Nyerere National Park in a 4x4 safari Jeep equipped with seat belts, open sides, binoculars, and plenty of space, allowing you to comfortably see the wildlife. You will enjoy lunch at a suitable spot inside the national park. In the evening, we will drive back to our accommodation for a sunset dinner close to the river, with a beautiful view.
The Selous Game Reserve, now renamed Nyerere National Park, is a protected area in southern Tanzania. It covers a total area of 50,000 sq km (19,000 sq mi) and has additional buffer zones. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 due to its wildlife diversity and undisturbed nature. Some of the diverse wildlife of the miombo include the African bush elephant, south-central black rhinoceros, hippopotamus, lion, African wild dog, African buffalo, Maasai giraffe, plains zebra, and Nile crocodile.

Day 3
Game drive in Nyerere National Park/ then Flight back to Zanzibar

Before breakfast, start a Sunrise game drive from 07:20 am to 8:00 am. Later after breakfast from your accommodation, start the drive again and enjoy a full-day game drive by a modified safari vehicle with a professional guide.
Great animal sightings include all the favourites such as lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, and zebra. You will also see all the other major species, including the now rare African wild dog, and a large variety of birds. Appreciate the wonderful scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains.
In the afternoon, you'll have lunch and proceed with the game drive for the rest of the day.
Start the drive to Mtemere Airstrip to catch a flight back to Zanzibar at 4:00 pm. Our driver will take you to the hotel.
