Your adventure begins today with an early morning pickup around 6:30 AM from your accommodation in Arusha to begin your journey to the iconic wilderness destinations in Northern Tanzania.

As you travel, take in the ever-changing scenery — from the vibrant towns to the lush, green countryside that gradually gives way to the wilderness. Your route winds through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering your first taste of the wild as you ascend forested highlands and descend toward the vast plains of the Serengeti.

You'll pause for a delicious picnic lunch at a scenic spot before continuing your journey into the iconic Serengeti — where the endless golden savannah stretches out on both sides of the road. Day 3

After breakfast, depart from the Serengeti and journey towards Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater, the world’s largest intact caldera, and marvel at its breathtaking vistas and wildlife as your adventure unfolds.

The crater is home to an abundance of wildlife, with over 30,000 mammals inhabiting this dome-shaped sanctuary, recording an incredibly high population density of Big mammals in all of the continent's Parks. During your game drive, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, ostriches, and the elusive black rhino.

After a day of exploring the crater’s spectacular wildlife and landscapes, enjoy a picnic lunch by the Hippo Lake, a serene spot perfect for relaxation. You will leave the crater and head to the town of Karatu where you will be spending your night.

As you pass through villages, get to know a day in a life of a Mto Wa Mbu villager, their traditional farming practices, and the crops that sustain the community. One of the highlights is a visit to the famous banana plantations, where you’ll have the opportunity to sample the locally brewed banana beer.

Lunch is a true cultural experience, featuring a variety of authentic Tanzanian dishes that showcase the country’s rich culinary heritage, enjoyed in a tranquil setting beneath the banana groves.
