Program of the day: After breakfast in Arusha, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and start the adventure to Tarangire National Park with your lunch boxes. You will enjoy a game drive through Tarangire, renowned for its large elephant herds, lions, and baobab trees then pause for a picnic lunch in the park. You will continue exploring until evening when you will be transferred to Farm of Dreams Lodge in Karatu for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River, is known for its large elephant herds, giant baobab trees, and tree-climbing pythons. The park features diverse landscapes including seasonal swamps and savanna grasslands, home to lions, zebras, gazelles, leopards, hyenas, and giraffes.

Program of the day: After an early breakfast, your guide will pick you up from Karatu for a scenic drive to Central Serengeti. Stop at the Crater Viewpoint for breathtaking vistas before embarking on an exciting game drive. Discover the vast savannah teeming with wildlife, including lions, elephants, and cheetahs. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area of the Serengeti. Continue your game drive in the afternoon, observing the diverse flora and fauna. In the evening, relax at Kontiki Serengeti Camp with dinner and an overnight stay under the stars.

Central Serengeti is famous for its iconic landscapes and abundant wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos. The area features vast savannahs and rolling plains, offering spectacular game viewing and part of the renowned Great Migration route.

Day 3

Serengeti Game Viewing

Program of the day: After breakfast, you will head out for a full-day game drive. Early morning is the best time for wildlife activity, as it is cooler and more comfortable. The main focus will be wildlife spotting. You'll have the chance to see the "Big Five" along with many other animal species, such as giraffes, zebras, crocodiles, and various antelopes. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the Great Migration at the Central Serengeti enjoying your picnic lunch. The drive will end in the late evening, when you will return to Kontiki Serengeti Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park is famous for the great migration of millions of wildebeests, herds of zebra and antelopes that make a cycle from southern Serengeti to Maasai Mara then back to Ndutu. However, be ready to see the beautiful Serengeti plains and resident predators such as crocodiles, leopards, cheetahs, and lions completing the trophic level chain.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

Program of the Day: After breakfast, you’ll head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, visiting the significant archaeological site of Olduvai Gorge and experiencing Maasai village culture. The drive continues to the crater which offer stunning views of the crater floor's diverse habitats and abundant wildlife, including the "Big Five," zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and various bird species. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at designated spots within the crater while soaking in the scenery. The day will conclude with a drive through the crater and highlands to Karatu, where you’ll have dinner and stay overnight.

Ngorongoro crater is one among the UNESCO world heritage site and constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and is one of the natural wonders of Africa which was formed after the explosion that occurred approximately 2-3 million years ago. With the presence of about 30,000 large mammals resident all year round.

Day 5

Lake Manyara National Park

Program of the Day: After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel with your lunch pack and drive you to Lake Manyara National Park for a day of game driving, with the chance to spot the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. While at the park, you can also enjoy activities such as canoeing or bicycle riding at additional costs. During your game drive, you can disembark at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos. After the game drive, you will be transferred back to your hotel or Kilimanjaro Airport, where you will prepare for your air transfer to your next destination.

Lake Manyara, Tanzania, is famous for its diverse wildlife, including tree-climbing lions, and rich birdlife with over 400 species. The scenic beauty of the lake, forests, and the Great Rift Valley escarpment adds to its allure, making it a prime destination for nature enthusiasts.
