Nairobi to Masai Mara

Pick up from your hotel or airport at 7:30 am and head straight to the Mara. You will be met by a representative from the office, who will give you a briefing on your safari. Immediately after the briefing, you will embark on your safari to Masai Mara National Reserve, which is a 6-hour drive from Nairobi. On your way from Nairobi, you will enjoy the scenic views of the Nairobi suburbs, beautiful savannah grasslands and the plains of the Great Rift Valley.

You will make a short stop at the Great Rift Valley Escarpment for a bathroom break and photography. Your expected time of arrival should be in time for lunch. Check in at Osero Lodge and after a warm meal, refreshments and a slight relaxation, you will go out for the first game drive of the day. Masai Mara is well known for its vast wildlife range, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, hippos and many more. After the afternoon game drive, you will head back to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Masai Mara Full Day

After breakfast, leave the camp with a packed lunch as you will be spending the whole day at the park. Enjoy breathtaking game drives in search of the resident wildlife of this magical park. Lunch will be enjoyed under a Croton tree in the amazing Mara Plains. A Masai village visit can be organised on this day at an extra cost. After an amazing day and a thrilling game drive, head back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

Enjoy your last breakfast at the lodge and prepare to leave the Mara. You will have a small game drive en route and get a chance to spot the resident wildlife one last time. After exiting the park on your way to Nairobi, you will have one last stop for a quick lunch before your drop off at a Nairobi hotel or Airport.
