3-Day Serengeti Highlights Safari–from and End Zanzibar

Flight from Zanzibar to Serengeti ( Spot the big five )

Your safari starts with a pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar at 6:00 AM, followed by a transfer to the Zanzibar domestic airport to catch your 8:00 AM flight to the Serengeti. Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip at 10:30 AM, you will meet your driver and begin your game drive in Central Serengeti, an area famous for its abundant wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest.

You will stop for lunch at 12:30 PM before continuing your afternoon game drive. In the late afternoon, around 4:00 PM, you will drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay, completing your first day of unforgettable wildlife adventures.

Game drive in Northern Serengeti ( Witness the river crossing migration )

After waking to the roars and calls of lions, and the morning songs and chirping of birds, enjoy breakfast at 6:30 AM. You will then set out in your 4x4 safari jeep to the northern Serengeti to witness the spectacular Serengeti migration. The drive from your lodge to the Mara River takes about 45 minutes, with game drives along the way.

In Northern Serengeti, you will see thousands of wildebeest gathered along the riverbanks, and if luck is on your side, you may witness the dramatic river crossing, a breathtaking display of nature. Around 12:30 PM, stop for lunch, then continue your afternoon game drive to spot more of the migration. In the late afternoon, return to your lodge for relaxation and dinner, completing another unforgettable day in the Serengeti.

End of Safari & Return to Zanzibar

Today marks the end of your Serengeti adventure. At 9:00 AM, you will drive to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar. For those seeking an unforgettable experience, an optional early morning hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti can be arranged at an additional cost – a truly magical way to witness the vast plains and wildlife from above.

Your flight departs at 11:30 AM and takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met by our driver for your transfer back to your hotel.
