Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

Today, you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to the Serengeti. Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip in the central Serengeti, you will meet your safari guide from Aglow Safaris and immediately begin a thrilling game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

The central Serengeti is rich in wildlife year-round, offering excellent chances to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest across the open plains.

As you explore the Seronera Valley, you will experience dramatic landscapes, predator activity, and diverse birdlife in one of Africa’s most iconic ecosystems. The game drive continues until late afternoon before heading to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater

Wake up in the central Serengeti and set out on a full game drive across Serengeti National Park, home to abundant year-round wildlife. Explore the Seronera Valley, rich in elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, lions, and leopards resting in acacia trees. With an expert Aglow Safaris guide, traverse prime wildlife areas for predator–prey encounters and diverse ecosystems.

An optional early-morning hot air balloon safari offers sunrise views over the plains followed by a bush breakfast in the wilderness.

Later, depart Serengeti and drive toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at the crater rim in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at a lodge overlooking the crater. The next morning, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a full wildlife safari experience.

Ngorongoro crater back to zanzibar

After savoring an early morning meal, you will set off on an adventure to explore the Ngorongoro Crater in hopes of spotting the elusive black rhino.

This breathtaking crater is often called Africa's very own "Noah's Ark" and is teeming with a variety of wildlife, including lions, hyenas, elephants, and more. You will pause for a midday meal at Hippo Lake before making your way back up to the crater rim for another wildlife drive.

Following check-out, you will return to the lodge and then make your way to Kilimanjaro Airport in time for your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar. We trust you have had a wonderful experience and have made unforgettable memories with Aglow safaris.
